CALABRATORS AND STANDARDS
Calibrators for low ranges of differential pressure
FCO550
The Model 550 pressure calibrator combines accurate differential pressure measurement with a very low pressure controller. As a pressure generator, the Model 550 uses its internal pressure control circuit to regulate pressures as low as 0.5 Pascal. The active pressure generation technique removes many of the problems associated with a sealed pressure generation system:
- Pressure generation not affected by temperature changes in pipe-work
- Insensitive to the volume of the test item.
- Active correction of atmospheric pressure fluctuations.
- Pressure can be held indefinitely.
- Fast/accurate setting of required pressure
The inclusion of both voltage and current measuring circuits means that the Model 550 can be used to automatically calibrate pressure sensors and provide calibration plots for the devices linearity. Pressure can be controlled manually with the aid of an infinite turn rotary control or automatically in user-programmed steps. All settings and commands can be implemented through the serial interface to allow for integration of the Model 550 into laboratory calibration systems. All measurements and graphs are displayed on a high brightness color display. Six function buttons combined with the display, provide the user with an easy to use interface enabling any operator to quickly configure the calibrator to their needs.
