CA1800 CHARGE AMPLIFIER SYSTEM
The CA1800 is the answer to your rack mounted charge amplifier needs. It has been designed as a rugged, rack-mountable instrument for use in engine test cell control rooms and other environments where charge-mode accelerometers are used to measure machinery vibration.
The CA1800 features full differential inputs, with buffered acceleration and integrated (velocity) signal outputs. Outputs may be configured for either differential or singled ended configurations, and each channel may be configured (at the MTI Instruments factory) for one of three different gain settings to match accelerometer sensitivities.
The CA-1800 features:
Conversion of Charge Mode Signals that are supplied by accelerometers. A wide range of sensor sensitivities can be supported. Accelerometers are connected to the CA1800 using industry standard 3-pin MS-style connectors located on the rear of the unit.
Buffer Acceleration Output Signals. The CA1800 provides buffered output acceleration signals (differential) using connectors located on the front panel. These signals may be used for tape recording or signal analysis.
Buffered Velocity Output Signals. The CA1800 provides buffered velocity output signals on the rear panel of the unit. These signals can be connected directly to instrumentation such as a PBS-4100R using standard coax cables. |
