GE Telaire Airestat CO2/Temperature Transmitter
T5000 Series
Wall-mounted carbon dioxide and temperature transmitter for demand-controlled ventilation
The low-cost GE Telaire T5000 Series Airestat CO2/temperature transmitter is a wall-mounted sensing solution for demand-controlled ventilation. The GE Telaire T5000 Series Airestat CO2/temperature transmitter provides an intuitive VLI (Visual Limit Indicator) display for CO2 thresholds, a passive temperature output (20k¥Ø thermistor), and a standard analog 0 to 10 volt signal to maintain air quality in enclosed spaces (such as school classrooms, offices, gymnasiums, and theaters).
GE Telaire T5000 Series Airestat CO2/temperature transmitters feature a digital UIP (User Interface Program) to configure internal carbon dioxide concentration thresholds (optional accessory cable and software not included.) The factory defaults are 1000 ppm and 1500 ppm.
The GE Telaire T5000 Series Airestat CO2/temperature transmitter employs gold-plated optics for accurate measurements and Telaire's patented ABC (Automatic Background Calibration) Logic¢â software for self-correction of drift to better than ¡¾20 ppm per year. The system is virtually free of maintenance and typically has a lifetime of more than 10 years.
Additionally, the T5007 includes Telaire's VLI (Visual Level Indicator) system which communicates intuitively to the average end-user. The correlation between a carbon dioxide PPM reading and adequate ventilation may not be fully understood. Instead of offering the user a reading in PPM, the T5007 provides a simple LED that communicates increased CO2 concentrations based on definable or predetermined thresholds. The LED smoothly transitions between green, yellow and red as the CO2 threshold is exceeded making these units highly intuitive and easy-to-use
