The GE Telaire Ventostat 8100 Series carbon dioxide sensor is a precision grade CO2 sensor / controller. The GE Telaire Ventostat 8100 Series carbon dioxide sensor is for use in applications where the building is continuously occupied and carbon dioxide levels may have difficulty dropping to outside levels or where higher than normal accuracy or a wider operating temperature range is required.
These precision-grade GE Telaire Ventostat 8100 Series carbon dioxide sensors use Telaire's patented dual beam Absorption Infrared¢â sensors. One channel measures carbon dioxide, and the other channel is used as a reference to correct for changes in the optics of the sensor that cause drift. This dual beam sensor design ensures long-term stability and low maintenance. With this increased stability, the GE Telaire Ventostat 8100 Series carbon dioxide sensor can operate for five years or more between calibrations.
GE Telaire Ventostat 8100 Series carbon dioxide sensors are suitable for both wall mounting and in-duct mounting. The standard white case is ideal for wall mounting while the black case is UL94-5V rated and suitable for in-duct mounting.
