The GE Druck DPI-620 multifunction calibrator is the latest generation modular calibrator. The GE Druck DPI-620 multifunction calibrator can be used as a stand alone electrical calibrator for measure, source, and simulate functions, or it can be combined with PM-620 pressure modules and PV-620 pressure generators to create the GE Druck AMC Advanced Modular Calibration System. Inside is a fully functional HART field communicator, replacing the need for a stand-alone HART communication unit.

As an electrical calibrator, the GE Druck DPI-620 multifunction calibrator can measure and source mA, mV, V, Ohms, frequency, and a variety of RTDs and thermocouples. The GE Druck DPI-620 multifunction calibrator provides an isolated 24V loop power supply to energize devices as well as control loops and a stabilized DC voltage supply for ratio metric transducers. A HART digital configurator is provided for set-up and calibration adjustment of HART devices.

The GE Druck DPI-620 multifunction calibrator has a high resolution, color touch screen. The display can be configured to show up to six windows with each window displaying an electrical input/output, pressure, temperature, a USB-connected device, or a wireless-connected device. The GE Druck DPI-620 multifunction calibrator's windows also act as active keys and, when pressed, expand to show more detailed information or to provide advance functions such as step and ramp outputs. Color is used to emphasize important information.

The GE Druck DPI-620 multifunction calibrator is compact, lightweight, and designed for rugged field application, with a robust casing and weather-proofing to IP 65. Featuring a high-speed digital interface for connecting to pressure modules and pressure generating stations, the GE Druck DPI-620 multifunction calibrator's interface will also allow expansion to meet future requirements when new modules and stations become available. The GE Druck DPI-620 multifunction calibrator features USB and optional wireless connectivity and a micro SD card slot for memory expansion.

A Windows CE-driven version of the GE Druck DPI-620 multifunction calibrator is available and provides all the computing power of a conventional handheld PC or PDA. The GE Druck DPI-620 multifunction calibrator provides standard Windows file management and offers popular Windows features. PDF files, video files, and jpeg images can be viewed, which allows operators to consult user manuals, training videos, data sheets, installation drawings, etc. while in the field or on the plant. The Windows CE version of the GE Druck DPI-620 multifunction calibrator offers internet access via a wireless adaptor and remote data transfer via a mobile phone.
