The ChemInstruments Drawdown Coaters are precision instruments designed to provide even the smallest coatings laboratory with an affordable tool to make consistent, repeatable samples. The coating bed is a sheet of flat, float glass for consistent, smooth coatings.

This fixed speed EC-100 coater provides machine-controlled preparation of laboratory samples.

Characteristics of the High Speed Unwind Machine:

• Rugged construction, capable of withstanding the abuse of the production environment
• Fixed speed of 47 ipm (119 cpm)
• Coating area is 8 1/2" wide x 13 1/2" long (22 cm x 34 cm)
• Coating load weight is 600 grams
• Wire Wound Rod size is 3/8" diameter x 12" long (0.9 cm x 30 cm) with 9" (23 cm) coating width
• Wire Wound Coating Rods not included, but a wide range of wire sizes are available
• Operating temperature range 32° - 150° F (0° - 70° C)
• Standard input voltage - 120 VAC (50/60hz)

The ChemInstruments EC-200 Variable Speed Drawdown Coater is a precision instrument designed to provide even the smallest coatings laboratory with an affordable tool to make consistent, repeatable samples. The coating bed is a sheet of flat, float glass for consistent, smooth coatings. This variable speed coater provides controlled speed and pressure to ensure repeatable coating results.

• Rugged construction, capable of withstanding the abuse of the production environment
• Selectable speed range from 15 to 450 ipm (38 - 1143 cpm)
• Coating area is 12" wide x 13 1/2" long (30 cm x 34 cm)
• Coating load weight is 600 grams
• Wire Wound Rod size is 1/2" diameter x 16" long (1.3 cm x 41 cm) with 12 1/2" (32 cm) coating width
• Wire Wound Coating Rods not included, but a wide range of wire sizes are available
• Operating temperature range 32° - 150° F (0° - 70° C)
